DIY Saturday morning project

 

How to make a backdrop for re-styling your entire Etsy shop photos:

  1. Find a long, straight board, flat and wide enough to behave as a small table top - check the garage or shed before going to a hardware store, or the landfill if you're up for an adventure.
  2. Turn on radio, tune to "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me", pour a cup of coffee. 
  3. Paint the board with gesso, rest. 
  4. Stare out the window while laughing with Peter Segal and trying not to gulp your coffee too fast. 
  5. Paint the board white.
  6. Congratulations!
